Here are some of the most common questions we get on a daily basis.
What's the difference between Painting and Refacing?
Many painting companies claim to "paint" cabinets. Simply cleaning and brushing, rolling, or even spraying on any type of latex, enamel or other waterborne trim paint is not going to feel, or last as good as a professional cabinet finish.
We completely sand the existing boxes to bare wood, so our true cabinet grade primer can soak into the wood and provide long term moisture resistance, and our solvent polyurethane topcoat is the best finish on the market for cabinets.
We also replace all of the cabinet door and drawer fronts, so you get a completely different look, at a fraction of the price of new cabinets.
How long does it take?
Refacing generally takes one week of work in your house, but can vary based on the scope and size of the particular job.
How much does it cost?
Of course everyone always wants to know but its impossible to give a price because each kitchen is different. Generally speaking most Cabinet Refacing jobs are between $3,000 and $20,000. Yes, its a big range because each job, situation, and project is unique.
What are my color choices?
Choosing a cabinet color can be a daunting task. That's why we have put together a collection of the top 20 colors that we use most often to help you choose. We have many shades of white and off whites, greys, blues and browns. We can also make custom colors for an additional cost.
